Job Title: Locum Specialty Doctor in Oncology

Description:
- Medical assessments for both pre/post chemotherapy
- Support local Multi Disciplinary Meetings
- Supporting oncology nurse led clinics which are linked to the visiting oncologists
- Neutropenia assessment of self referral patients
- Review chemotherapy patient laboratory results and liaise with Pharmacy staff accordingly
- Liaise with Consultant Haematologists and Consultant Physicians under whom currently patients are admitted if required.
- Raise awareness of clinical trials
Required:
- Good level of English is required for this position
- Eligibility to register with the General Medical Council is mandatory
- Advance Trauma Life Support courses will be considered an Advantage
Salary Range: Salary will depend on qualifications and experience
